Manville Fire District Fire Chief

 

The Manville Fire District is in search applications for the position of Fire Chief for Manville Volunteer Fire Station.  This is a full-time paid position.  Reports to MFD Board of Wardens.

Qualifications: 

• Certifications:  Fire Officer 1, Fire Instructor II, Fire Fighter II, Basic EMT, Deputy State Fire Marshall or willing to become certified at next available class

• Education in Fire Science, fire administration, including organization, finance, equipment management, maintenance, staffing, records, and reports

• At least ten years progressive fire service with minimum five year in senior command position

• Preferably in district or within reasonable distance
